Rockin' Weekend

Man, this weekend was pretty much the definition of sweet. What made it so sweet? Bunches of exciting things that's what! :)

First off, Friday night me&mom started to try and get my paper organized. Figure out what kind of infomation to put in it. We ended up talking for like 2 hours, and having a really good discussion. I ended up finishing the paper Sunday, but overall I was really pleased with it. It's packed with scriptures and fascinating informaion. It's in God's hands right now, so we'll just see how God uses this!

Second, I got to look at the possibly new church building. It's right in town, which could draw new people. It's bigger, so we will have room to grow! It doesn't have a gravel parking lot, which would be awesome! Overall it has a lot of potential. It even has 2 apartments at the back, which I really liked....I mean if God brought a single,worship/youth leader, that puts God first, and happens to like single,blonde,dedicated christian girls named Emma and they got married, I would have no problem with them living in one of those apartments! ;) That was a joke, but if it's God's will then I will be okay with that! But like I said it has potential and I really liked it. But I know wherever God leads us wil be suh-weet!

Third, I got to catch up on some good ol' reading. Mom has me hooked on Karen Kingsbury. Man, she's a good writer! Ladies will love her writing,and probably even some guys would enjoy it! Anywho, I finished the fourth book in one series and got through most of the 5th book. It was very relaxing.

Finally, Prayer was absolutely awesome on Saturday night! We set a new attendance record, and there was such a sweet pressence. Even at the end me and mom smelled this really sweet scent. Not like perfume, but just a sweet scent....Hm.....The service on Sunday was also good! We had 75 people with 12 families gone on spring break. We sang "Jesus Loves Me" as a congregation, and it gave me goosebumps. Funny how a simple song like that can give you chills. I think we set an offering record too, but I'm not totally sure. It was good even if we didn't set a new record. :) God's doing great things!

So that was my weekend! Now I'm back at school, and trying to focus on school work. Not easy after the weekend I had, but only like a month left of school! WOO HOO! Have a great week everyone! love.
