I read this a week or two ago, but man it just makes me smile everytime I read it. And it is so true! This quote came from an article talking about the Haiti earthquake. And people coming out alive from under the rubble is nothing short of a miracle! One specific person they talked about was pulled out a month after the quake! A WHOLE MONTH! They stated that someone had been bringing them food. Hm....:)
I even had my own miracle the other day. My english midterm was last friday, and I was a tad nervous about it. That tad nervousness turned into full on freaking out once I got the test. We had to look at a quote, name the author, name the speaker of the quote, name the work it came from, and give an explanation for the quote. Shoot....I did all the reading, but I couldn't even remember how to spell "Odyessy"
I thought I was done for....but wait....and this was totally God's doing, because I got a 100 on the test. A perfect score! I almost fell out of my seat! Sure I thought God would help me pass, but a 100?! It was nothing short of a miracle by God.
I hope that you all read deep into the quote. God is a God of miracle and wonders even today. And in the words of Pastor Matt, "God is good. His word is true. And it works in my life!"
